1. Push the moveable handle down to a horizontal position
2. Place the suction cup onto a smooth area of glass
3. While keeping pressure on the suction cup, pull up the horzontal handle to meet the vertical handle
4. It will now be locked in place and ready for use

If you find it is not sealing properly, run water over the suction cup and let it dry and try again
